Spotted the perfect job for you? Feeling unsure about how to go about applying for it, and where to start? Not confident about putting together an application letter that will arrest the attention of the reader, increasing your chances of getting an interview?

This is so obviously true that it is surprising how many job applications I have received over the years displayed very little by way of thought and planning. Why – when so much is at stake?
The reasons are varied: for example – a combination of lack of self-confidence, fear of failure, self-doubt, not knowing where or how to begin (rather like writer’s block), and other factors.
Happily, with proper guidance, these limiting factors may often be addressed successfully – with the result that candidates are able to present a clear, concise, and effective application (including CVs/Résumés), giving themselves the best chance of success.
